Alexis did something on him one year. I think it was in 1st grade, but they didn't dress up or anything.

I did a little research on him (wikipedia page)- and he's quite the interesting fellow. He was a missionary and took donations of clothes and passed them out- keeping the worst of the clothing for himself and sharing the best. It's a pretty neat story (aside from the Disney-fied version most of us learned in school

The principal at my DD's school dressed as Johnny Appleseed last Friday and read to the kids in her Kindergarten class.
