Here is a great step by step way to make your own blinkies.. You just hve to download Paint SHop Pro and Animation SHop
1. Click File choose New.
2. Make the width 150 & the Height 20. Click okay.
3. Now you should have a blank blinkie box opened.
4. On the left side of the screen there are 2 "connected boxes under or beside the big colored one. Choose the top of those 2 that are connected & click on it. Choose a color.
5. On the left side of the screen choose the Fill bucket. (Looks like a paint bucket)
6. Fill the blank blinkie with the color your choose.
7. Now go to the top of the screen & click on Selections.
8. Click select all, now you will have lines running around your blinkie.
9. Go back to Selections & down to modify, then click Contract.
10. Choose 2 for the # of pixels.
11. Now you have running lines more inside the blinkie.
12. Go back to Selections & click Invert.
13. This makes both sets of lines be on the blinkie at the same time.
14. Go back to the right side of the screen again & choose another color.
15. Get the fill bucket again & click between the running lines. (you can zoom in & make your blinkie bigger by placing your curser over it & using the up & down grey bar in the middle of your mouse.)
16. Now you should have the new color boardering around the 1st color.
17. Click Selections again & choose select none.
18. This makes the running lines go away.
20. Choose the paint brush, have it set at size 1.
21. Go back to the right side, to the 2 connected color boxes, then choose a color for each box, that you want to race around your blinkie.
22. It helps to zoom in on your blinkie at this point,
if you already didn't do it, to fill the color between the racing lines.
23. In the upper left hand corner of your blinkie, color the 1st 2 pixels by left clicking your mouse, then skip one, and right click the next 2 in & the right clicking will be the 2nd color you choose.
24. Go all the way around the blinkie. You should have 2 in the 1st color, 1 blank, & then 2 in the next color, in that pattern.
25.
If you mess up, just hit undo.
26. It might not hurt to save this as a .pspimage at this point,
if you haven't already decided to do that...lol
27. Now click the A, on the lower left of the screen, to write on your blinkie. Click on the blinkie & type in the box that comes up & click ok, when it says what you want. You will probably need to move the text where you want it, after clicking ok.
28. Now you are ready to make a copy of your blinkie. To do this, just hit the shift key & D at the same time.
29. On the 2nd blinkie, you want to go back over & swap the 2 colors that are going around the blinkie, so they are opposite of the 1st blinkie. (the 2nd color where the 1st color is & so on...) Go all the way around again.
30. Go to Layers & choose Merge & click on Merge Visible. Do this to both copies.
31. Now you can save your blinkies into a PSP folder, or you can make a new folder & name it blinkies. This time make sure to save both copies as .gif files!
32. Open Antimation Shop.
33. Click File & choose Antimation Wizard.
34. On the 1st box that pops up choose Same size as the first image frame, then click next.
35. On the 2nd box, make sure you click Transparent, then next.
36. On the 3rd, click Upper left corner of the frame & with the canvas color & next.
37. On the 4th, click Yes, repeat the antimation indefinitely & set the How long for 10 & click next.
38. Click add image & go to the folder you saved it in, do this for each copy before you hit next again. Once both copies are in the box, hit next.
39. On the 5th box you choose Finish.
40. Both copies should be in one box on the screen in front of you now.
41. Click File, choose Save as. Choose a folder, name your blinkie & click save.
42. Just hit next until it is done & you are the proud owner of your own blinkie!
Hope you guys like this.. ITs really easy!!
