I started August 7th and the 6th and Final BIG Treatment is tomorrow...I'm beyond super excited to have this part of it over...I still have to go every three weeks for a "light" treatment until August 10 but there are NO side effects with it. Allthough the side effects with the heavy stuff have been manageable other than the physical appearance

I start radiation 2nd week of December...get this, 5 days a week, for 15 minutes for SEVEN weeks straight

It's local so I can go on my lunchtime. After the Radiation I start Hormone Therapy which is a pill every day for 5 years

Oh Good luck with your last big treatment. I'm so sorry that you have to go through all of this. Now with the radiation do you have to stay away from the kids?

Not really...I just can't have them hug up on the area being radiated - left side....so I will have to hug them with my right side forward!!

So glad this part is almost over Mel! You are truely an inspiration with your attitude towards this and I know you will live a long healthy life after all of this is said and done.
