You got it! Douglas has officially started asking for a puppy! Here's how the conversation the other night went (we were bored... Ok, I was bored!):

Me: Douglas, if we were to go somewhere, where would you wanna go?
D: Can we go to Walmart?
Me: What do we need from Walmart? No, I think we'll go there tomorrow instead.
D: How bout Good Steward?
Me: No, they're closed.
D: Is Goodwill open?
Me: No, they're closed too.
Douglas thinks for a second...
D: We should go to the pet store! We need to get a puppy! Can we go to the pet store and get a puppy, mommy?
Me: Umm... Not today Douglas... Someday, but not today!
D: Sunday?
Me: No, SOMEday!
D: Oh, someday?
Me: Yes, someday Douglas, someday we will get a puppy...

Oh my sweet, sweet little boy! DH got a kick out of that one
