Nate has recently started using the computer to play games (sprout, noggin, nick jr., etc.). I'm just wondering how many of you let your little ones use the computer and for how long. I'm thinking a one-hour time limit per day is good (allowing him one hour, or two half hours, or four 15 minutes total throughout the day)?

Does that sounds about right? Thanks for any input and suggestions!

Nick doesn't use the computer much. When he does it's, maybe, 15 minutes tops.

, its the program they do at school. He usually gets on about once a day for about 30minutes. He also likes PBSKids

Milo digs those same sites. He is probably on an hour a day maybe 3 days a week. I think your time limits sound reasonable. You know what is best for your little guy.

Milo also just LOVES to type emails to Daddy or grocery lists. He is nuts. I have to hide my little PC from him. He thinks it is perfect for kids. LOL!

They also do computer time in his class at school but only maybe 15 minutes a week individually.

Char is just learning how to use the computer. The girls' computer isn't hooked up to the internet but they have about 30 computer games from which to choose.

Now that Char is starting to sound out words and read, she's getting more excited about some of the games that require more reading skill.

She was really excited to have some time to herself to play the computer while Sarah was in the hospital.
