Emery is almost 3 (on 12/1) and she is in a preschool class with kids that are all about 3.5-4. The teacher asked our sitter
if we read to Emery when she was home because she won't sit and listen to stories.
I was very offended because we read to her all the time. IN fact the day before we had read 6 different Christmas books! However, it is usually before bedtime or a nap and she is usually sitting on our
lap or laying down with
us. I asked Emery why she didn't sit for the teach and she said because she wanted to play... I'm not sure what to do or
if this behavior is really abnormal for her age. The teacher said this is something she will need to be able to do in Kindergarten. Ummm she will not start Kindergarten until 2012!

So my questions is do you think this is something I should be concerned about?
