Wait, you were in the Navy & the Army? --- I was enlisted in the Navy. When I got out of the Navy, I applied for a Civilian Position with the US Army. The nearest Navy base from here is Pax River, which was too far of a drive for me. Since I had a military background and there is an Army base about 20 mins away, I applied there and was accepted.

What is your DH's name? Eric
Where did you meet? At work, we worked for the same company on base.
What's your favourite activity? Reading
What was the last household chore you did? Cleaned up the dinner dishes
Do you have a best friend? If so how did you meet and how long have you known each other? Yes, her name is Monique. We met 10 years ago in community college. I tried Community College out before going into the military. We both dropped out and joined the military, although she went into the Army. No matter where she was stationed or deployed to and no matter where I was; we were in constant contact. She's now out of the military and living on Fort Bragg where her fiance is stationed at. I miss her a lot, because she recently moved there to be with him. Our kids are very close in ages, and they miss each other alot. But, we've gotten used to being so far apart; so we'll make this work too.

Since I know you from the Reading Room, I'll start with some reading questions:

Who is your favorite writer? Nora Roberts, she was the first Adult book I read when I was a teenager and I have loved her since.
Top five books of all time?
1. Firefly Lane by Kristen Hannah
2. The Help by Kathryn Stockett
3. The Villa by Nora Roberts
4. The Texas Series by Fern Michaels
5. Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10 by Marcus Luttrell
What other hobbies do you have besides reading? I like to fix things around the house, especially painting.

How did you decide on your daughters' names? We have a tradition on my mothers side of the family that all of our names start with the letter A. My oldest, Aryiana, was chosen by her bio-father, he saw it in a name book. My middle child, Alexis, goes by "Lexy" who I named after my favorite character in the book Where The Heart Is by Billie Letts. And, Ava was chosen because I first saw that name when Reese Witherspoon had her first child. And, I've liked that name since then.
What made you decide to enlist? Several reasons, I stupidly gave up a basketball scholarship to follow my then high school sweetheart to his military duty station. He was a year older than me and was stationed at Camp Lejeune. It didnt work out well for us, I moved back home and tried community college. And HATED it So, after seeing everything the ex had gone through I thought I could do the same. And by then it was revenge as well. I actually made rank faster than he did, which made me feel pretty good. It was a dumb reason but it worked out well for me in the end.
Favorite city you've lived in? Pensacola, FL. The beach was amazing.
Favorite season of the year? Fall
How many siblings do you have? 1 sister, 1 half-sister and 1 step sister.
Are you close with your family? We used to be but not anymore. My sister and I had a major falling out back in June and it has tore our entire family apart. I dont think either of us expected the domino effect but it has been tough to deal with. Im not looking forward to next week that's for sure.
What is your favorite holiday tradition? LOL...And the redneck in our family is about to show. The first year DH & I were together, we put the XMAS tree up. And it was all done and we realized that we didnt have a star or an angel for the top of the tree. Well DH had just finished a Coors Light Can of Beer and stuck the tree through the mouth of the can onto the top of the tree. So, now we have a Coors Light Can as our star. Now its a tradition for him to drink a beer and put it on the top.
Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Introvert
Do you have any special talents? Im an amazing basketball player.

Is Your Family Complete?-- Unfortunately yes. I really would like to try for a boy, but I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in September and was advised not to have any more children.

What is Your Favorite Movie? -- The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.

Favorite Actor? Matthew Mcconaughey, I have a "thing" for Southern Accents.

Favorite Actress?--- I really dont have one that is my favorite.

Favorite Commercial?----There is a commerical out there now for Video Games and the man is pulling down the shelves off the wall, breaking furniture, etc because he is losing. It reminds me of DH, becauses he gets so mad. I dont understand it, it's just a video game!

Craziest Dream You Have Ever Had? I dream all the time that Lexy is talking, and Im having full conversations with her. And she has a British Accent. (Lexy has Autism and has a limited vocabulary)

Favorite Season? Fall

If You Won a Million Dollars, What Would You Do First? Write a check out to pay off this house!!!
