Default oh dear, lol

my poor little guy is gonna look like a football player soon!
We saw his pediatrician today and she wants him to get a helmet. She said if we do it now we won't have to do it long, because his head is "borderline" but if we don't and miss the window, she won't be able to fix it.
So we're waiting to hear about when the referral will be.
He got his angioma burnt again yesterday too, so hopefully that will be the end of that silly thing.
He was 22lbs 2oz and 28 1/4 inches. (7months).
Sheesh, imagine how big his head with look with a helmet added to it!

She's also going to stop the prevacid so I hope that goes smoothly too. He still spits up ALOT so I'm crossing my fingers it doesn't cause him pain, she said if it doesn't go well she'll put him back on it though. I just don't want to go through that screaming again. It was awful. Wish us luck!!

i think his head is perfect! whats the reason for the helmet? My nephew had to wear a helmet for almost a year due to one side of his head being really flat.

i hope he does okay without that medication.

I say go for the helmet if thats whats recommended. I have a friend who wouldnt get it for her daughter, who has pretty bad plagiocephaly, and now she's 3 and it really doesn't look good. I'm sure when she's older and wants to pull her hair back in a ponytail it will look funny. And I think especially for a boy, with short hair, you really cant hide a flat spot too well. Not that I can see from any of his pics by the way, his head really does look perfect!

Good luck with d/c ing the prevacid. I'm sure he'll do fine w/o it.
