AF after miscarriage?

  • Hello,
I THINK I just got AF, but not sure. I am having mild cramps too. It has been exactly 23 days since the first signs of my miscarriage, but much shorter than that (maybe 2 weeks) since I had stopped bleeding. My cycle is usually around 26 days or so, so this could be it.

Can anyone remember how long it took to see AF once they miscarried?
I am praying that my cycle is normal again...i am so eager to try!!

  • What leads you to just "think" you go AF?

If your cycles are typically shorter than average, then this is probably about the right time. Mine came about 30 days after the loss, so that seems in step with what you could expect.

  • I think I'm just confused to confirm it's AF because the last bleeding I had was my MC. I'm pretty sure this is it. I am so eager to start trying in 9 days, but I think I should probably wait until the next period. I'm happy it's around the holidays and hopefully the time will go by quickly and I can start trying again soon....AND I hope I get pregnant quickly this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am so eager to try, but so nervous too. I have heard to let a full cycle go by to get your uterus ready to carry another baby. I know that I cannot prevent another mc, but I'm terrified that I will have to go through this again and I feel like I should take every precaution.

Having said that, I know so many people who got pregnant right away and had healthy babies. Just not sure what to do...
