  • Rudi~

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I agree with everything Tamsin advised. I had a missed m/c and needed a d&c. I think my cycle returned to "normal" after 6 weeks. My doctor advised waiting 3 months. If you get pg too early after a miscarriage, there is a chance that your hormones won't be back to "normal" and risk the chance of another m/c.

Again~ I am so sorry you have to go through this loss. If there is anything we can do for you, let us know.

Take care of yourself and good luck!

  • I am sorry for your loss. I have had 3 losses, 2 d&c and my period came back within 5 weeks after both of them. My doc also advised waiting 3 months. I think it mostly depends on you and your emotions.

  • After my m/c , AF showed up within a few weeks which I know is rare (it was a very short cycle).. My dr suggested waiting some time but I didn't listen. I got a BFP the next cycle and I hope this one sticks. Only time will tell but I feel very confident about this pregnancy. I'm not suggesting you do what I did, I'm just letting you know my story.

  • My af also came back 6 weeks after my m/c, and we are now trying again. I didn't need a D and C thought because I m/c at 5 1/2 weeks. I think you should go for it whenever you are ready
