Default Introduction

Hello all

This is my first time posting so here is my story.

I am 30 & DH is 39. We got a BFP in July 2010 but it was a blighted ovum. We got pregnant again in December 2010 but it was another blighted ovum.

We have now been trying for 6 months. 12 months in total if you count the time leading to miscarriages (Do you?).

My sister got pregnant & had her baby straight away & I believe that her happiness has affected my sadness as I have a constant reminder of our losses. Most days i feel like I will never be happy again & it just gets harder & harder.

We've had lots of blood tests which have all come back normal (Yay).

This waiting game & depression is killing me though. I'm currently in my 2WW & think I'm experiencing symptoms, but this has happened before with AF arriving.

Just wondering what everyones post ovulation symptoms leading to a BFN are?

Thanks Ladies

Hello L.
I've been away from TBC for a long time and I'm sorry to have missed your post and you've not had anyone to share this with.

I've been where you are, and I know that it isn't a fun place to be. I'm really sorry you are struggling with the waiting your turn blues. It really is a hard thing to see other people with your own heart's desire.

I've also been blessed enough to have a baby after my blighted ovum and my ectopic. It was sad and stressful, but it does end. It will change for you also.

the mindgames of the 2WW are horrid. I hope by now you are happily into a pregnancy. If you aren't, keep the faith and enjoy the trying!

good luck and welcome to TBC.

Gosh, I'm sorry I missed this. I hope you're still checking in on our boards.

I've been where you are too. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks, and it took me six months after that to get pregnant again. I was completely leveled by how hard it was, and I put my life completely on hold until I got pregnant again.

I went on to have two healthy boys after the miscarriage, and there's no reason you can't be blessed with kids too. Just hang in there and keep trying.
