April, I'm sorry for your loss. I have experienced 5 losses and I know the sadness that comes along with miscarriage.

If your miscarriage just happened on 5/20, you should give your body at least a month (though most doctors would recommend 3 months) to recover from the hormone shift that comes with miscarriage. Your body experiences a large shift in hormones when a pregnancy ends and the time it takes for those pregnancy hormones to return to zero can vary from a period of weeks to months.

Getting a period doesn't signify zero pregnancy hormones. Your best plan would be to visit your OB and discuss the next steps, have your hCG levels run to see where you stand, and make plan.

I'm saddened to hear of your loss and I hope you'll continue relying on those of us here at The Baby Corner who have forged this difficult path ahead of you.
