I'm not ttc but don't see another board for pregnancy loss.

Today is a bittersweet one for me.
Two years ago today, I had my d&c and my miscarriage was officially "complete." It was one of the worst days of my entire life. Not a day goes by that I don't think about the little girl I never got to meet. I'm often wish I didn't know the sex of the baby. I'm so sad I lost this chance for a daughter and will never raise one now.
 

 


One year ago today, I was bringing my little miracle of miracles, Brayden Michael, home from the hospital. It was one of the happiest days of my life, knowing my whole family was "here" and that we were complete, although I was sad that there would be no more babies. I know in my heart of hearts that he is the perfect completion to our family, and that if I wouldn't have miscarried, he would have probably never been born. I can't imagine my life without him.

I'm so glad that you have a happy memory to share the place in your heart that is so sad.

I still get sad, and I totally get it.
