  • Thanks ladies... I can't believe I did it, but I chopped 18+ inches off my hair and I totally regret it. I have been acting impulsively and it's really not bringing out the best in me. Dh has issues with grieving and doesn't understand that sometimes I just need to let it out, cry, talk, be left alone, whatever. He's driving me NUTS. Some days I just wanna smack him and others it's like he is actually TRYING. I just don't understand him or his ways and I really don't think I ever will.

Christina, I cut 13 inches off my hair and miss it also! I'm sorry you and your husband are coming together better and supporting each other better as you grieve. It really sucks when you need something and find that your mate doesn't understand your needs. Keep talking!

I'm so sorry. I had a late loss too, and I know what a sucker punch it can be.

  • I'm definately feeling better... Unfortunately I am still unable to make new posts. Something in my computer is really messed up and I haven't the slightest clue as to what in the world it is!

    BUT, an update!
When I went for my 2 wek post op appointment they already had the test results from the baby... We found out the baby was a girl and had Down's Syndrome. Most of the 1st trimester losses that occur are because of chromosomal issues and most of the chromosomal issues are because of Down's.

Because the 2 chromosomal issues in my last 2 mc's are completely unrelated, they said there is no need for me or DH to go through any extra testing at this point and it seems to be just a "string of bad luck." Since we found out the baby was a girl, we named her Lydia.

The specialist we saw said to wait at least one cycle before we start TTC again, but obviously to wait as long as we feel comfortable with. I am ready to start trying again and hope for a BFP as soon as possible! I'm feeling great and as long as dh is still off work anyway, why not, right

I just wanna hold a baby of my own in my arms again, as well as make my family grow!
