I don't really know where to go next with TTC. I know doctors recommend waiting 2 cycles after a miscarriage before trying again. But I miscarried so early...and I really want a summer baby! DH is concerned about how erratic my cycles have been the last 3 months and being about to tell when I O. I tried OPK's once and they didn't work for me...and I can't be consistant enough in the time I wake up for temping. I'd like to get a clear blue easy fertility monitor but we have a vacation coming up and I really need to save my money for that. I know it is still my hormones getting back to normal, but for a little while last night I was talking about just getting a kitten and forgetting about TTC for a while.

I know it is so hard to wait the 2 cycles- I am doing that myself. There must be a reason though that they say it. I was early too- only 6 weeks when I m/c and they still said 2 cycles.

In your case because you got a negative on the hpt, you could probably try pretty quickly because your betas were probably not that high. (I had to wait for mine to go back to zero)

I know how frusterating it can be and how you just want to give up after going through something like a m/c. All you can hope for is that you have someone watching over you in heaven now waiting for you to try again!

Stay positive- take time to grieve
And once you feel better try again!
I will be thinking about you!

I mc at 12 weeks, and my doc said we could try again after one normal period. I did lots of reading after, and I learned the 2 cycle (or longer) wait period is more for emotional reasons, not physiological. I say do what feels best for you. For me, trying immediately helped me to heal.

We conceived Hayden the month after I suffered my 3rd loss...It was a very early loss as well at 6 weeks and we actually weren't even trying as I had been referred to an OB/GYN for further testing.

But when we got to see him I was already 5 weeks ago.

I know in my case after each loss my dr would still sent me for regular blood work and once my levels were back to zero we were good to go. Usually didn't take to long in my case but it so true the emotional issues are much harder to deal with especially the first few times.
