Well, I'm a fan of the OPKs and I always started the baby dancing a few days before I thought I'd be ovulating. :pickle: It's really important to know your cycles. You might want to try charting at to see if you are ovulating regularly, etc...

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you stick around TBC. There are lots of great ladies around here who can give you great advice and support.

Good Luck! I hope your TTC journey is very short! :shamrock:

I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't know until I lost my first pregnancy that miscarriage is very common. I found many of my friends and coworkers had also lost a baby but didn't share before. This is a great place to find support while you're trying again.

I found charting to be very helpful. I highly recommend Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It teaches you how to track your body's signals, since the conventional wisdom regarding when you are ovulating is often inaccurate. I tracked using the book's method, and I found that Fertility Friend was often off from my actual ovulation date (it uses only temperature to calculate ovulation rather than several different factors).

Please don't be discouraged. It took me six months to conceive again after my miscarriage, and I honestly thought I would never have a baby. Four and a half years later, I have two boys, 3-1/2 and 2. Good luck to you!
