I have the original. I like it when the babies are tiny, but by the time they are old enough to face outward they are too heavy

We don't have Bjorns but we had a Snugli--used it a couple times and found it to be awkward. Now I use slings---much better!

We had a bjorn, but I found it to be VERY uncomfortable. We use a sling. They are way more versatile and you can carry the baby in them until they are much bigger than you can with a front carrier.

We have the one with additional back support. K was too small for it for 2mos odd. Then she hated having to face inwards. It's taken almost 6mos to get any use out of it at all - she loves being in it now, and luckily at still only 13lbs she's not too heavy for me yet. I wish I'd gotten a sling, she spends a lot of time in my arms.
