Goo Gone is one of the things you can try.

Susan - I've had the same thing happen over and over this spring already. I hate for them to even wear a new outfit for fear it will be ruined but then what's the point of buying them.

Shout Gel Spray works wonders for us. I use that, let it soak into the stain for a day, then wash it in HOT water.

the stuff that is better than shout now is Zout.
that stuff gets it all out.

I'd just do the best I could and then not worry about them being dingy. it is frustrating that they only wear stuff once before it gets 'ruined', though.

that is aggrivating and happens so often!

I use Zout too. I've never tried the Goo Gone trick though!! That's cool.

Ya know though... I DO try to get stains out... but if they don't come out after the 2nd or 3rd attempt, they just go through the dryer and my kids WEAR IT ANYWAYS... just not out anywhere special!!
