Default Girl Scouts
Lauren came home from school yesterday with a flier for the Girl Scouts. She is begging me to let her join. I guess a few of her little friends are in it or going to sign up. I called today to get info on it (since I was never in brownies or girlscouts) and it sounds pretty fun. I'm thinking about letting her join.

Have any of you ever done Girlscouts or have any of your kids? Was it a good thing to join? I'd love to hear feedback since I have no clue about this club! lol.

we got the form to sign up when we registered for kindergarten last week. I am thinking about letting Grace join too..i really don't know much about it ..i was only in brownies for a short time

I was in the girl scouts. I joined when I was in the 7th grade and graduated high school still in the girl scouts. Heck, right after that, I became a 'young adult' and worked as assistant leaders for troops and taught backpacking and leadership classes etc.

Girl scouts was the BEST thing in my life for me. Of course it helps that I had the worlds best scout troop.
 

I went all over the world with the girl scouts and did alot of really amazing things locally as well.

I give the girl scouts

I work for the Girl Scouts..I was never in girl Scouts as a kid, but it is a really good positive organization for girls. Tori is in it aleady and Kimmie will sign up in Kindergarten. There is a big push right now within the organization to become a good role model for girls. Plus the girls have so much fun at camp and doing all the activities.
