How often do you and DH go out?
Do you have family babysit or a babysitter?

We usually have family.
Tonight DH and I are going to a Holiday dinner for his work. My sister Kim is going to take her overnight. Meghan has never spent the night anywhere without us. My sister did watch her once overnight here but that was May or March of 2003. I am a little nervous and excited to sleep all night long....

We never really go out until just recently. We have little family to babysit and I am not comfortable leaving Cole with anyone really. He has stayed with a girlfriend of mine for an hour a couple times but that is it.

Recently though dh and I have started a yoga class and hour and a half once a week and MIL watches him then. We also have a xmas supper we are going to when MIL is watching him as well as a wedding tonight when my girlfriend is watching him...otherwise he is ALWAYS with us!

Hoping as he gets older it is easier for me to leave him...does not bother him at all...just me...

Moy it is the same here. Meghan does not care but it is hard for me.
A couple of weeks ago I dropped her off at my moms so I could go to weight watchers and she practially slammed the door in my face trying to get rid of me..

Alas we are not so lucky. There is no one we can trust to babysit except for my mom but unfortunately mom tends to back out at the last minute so then we cant go and then has the nerve to say later on oh why didn't you call me? ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! It was like that for my birthday. DH planned to take me out and had everything lined up. The day before my mom calls up and says oh she is so busy tomorrow and is so tired and could we make it for another night. So we end up staying home and wouldn't you know Monday morning rolls around she calls me and basically says why didn't you tell me it was for your birthday. You should have called me. I would have looked after the boys. Oh I was so mad. But then again she has done it before. I guess you could say me and my mother have some issues that I don't have enough space to go into right now. LOL! In a nut shell, we don't go out as a couple. Only as a family.
