"Me" Time - Page 2 Ages & Stages

the only time I get to myself is the mornings, and I'm usually doing my exercises then. I used to have lunch to have time to myself, but now between me taking up slack for people quitting at my job, I either don't get a lunch, and now me and DH share lunch hours. I enjoy it sometimes, but sometimes I have all this stuff to do, and he just sits in his chair, munches, and watches TV. I may get a few minutes to myself in the evenings, but I'm usually so wiped, i"m falling asleep with my book on my face and the light on.

I do get Keno with a group of ladies once a month. We play and gossip. And I'll go out with friends, but that is few and far between. DH and I do go out frequently and leave landon with my mom. I'm grateful we have someone so close that will watch him.

I can have me time whenever I want it. I just don't take advantage of it too often. I would rather do things with John and Sarah.. I do go every 2 weeks to get my nails done though... Sometimes John tries to get me to go do things... He even goes as far as getting me GC for a spa treatment

He will take Sarah to CEC if he knows I need "me" time... We share pretty much all "chores"...

Ya, I should say like Debra, that my dh tries to give me more ME time, I just rarely take advantage of it.

I feel guilty and strange crazy things like that. I need to get over that and get a few hobbies.

I try and get out of the house with some friends every other weekend for awhile. I need it for my "mental health". We usually scrapbook or got out for dinner and some drinks.
