I think I'll call the school. I'm thinking maybe what happened is they're using one of those "Kids Bops" cd's (which I'd assume clean up the lyrics a little).

I just don't know because Kaydence told me the teachers told them they needed to, "sing loud because the parents would want to hear their kids, not Bruno Mars".

I'll update you once I talk to the school.

Ok, case closed. I called the school. It was a innocent mistake on Kaydence's part. They are singing a Bruno Mars song, but not Grenade (even though Kaydence was adament it was Grenade).

It's called Count on Me, A Song of Friendship. As you can tell from the title it's about friends and friendship and features lot of counting.

it is probably sung to the tune of that song - that happens a lot - my daughter recognizes songs on the radio, but sings different words to them all the time.
