I can't believe it is time for that already! All the stores have had fall clothes in for a while. Since dh is going to be home and i will be at work I want to make sure that I buy things in definite outfits this year so he can match things easily! Anyone else already shopping?

I try to do it bits at a time. The stores are so expensive and with how my son is on clothes he goes through them so fast. Holes in knees, stains on tops I cant win. And if its not that then the quality is so bad i start to wonder why I bother. So I would decided a long time ago that instead of dealing with the possibility of shrinkage and the fact that he hates shopping as well- at least clothes and shoes shopping of the normal sort. That we frequent a lot of rummage sales during the summer and also hit the Goodwill stores-which are a gold mine. If you go on a certain day/s usually they have 2 where i live its sun and mon. That certain color tags for that week are half off. The clothes many times still have tags on them. Plus, i get to shop in peace, not spend a TON and he gets to browse the toys, he will actually even help pick out clothes.

We just got Avery's preschool "list" today in the mail. We are going shopping for that stuff this week. As for clothes, me, my mom, and my grandmother all have a horrible problem shopping for Avery so she is never lacking for clothes, lol!

I actually took some time to clean out dd's closet and drawers and was pleasantly surprised. She has a bunch of dresses that will still fit and some new jeans And tee shirts that I bought last year on sale. She really only needs a few things to fill in here and there and we already got all new socks and undies the other day. Yay!

My mother in law bought the girls new backpacks last weekend. Nicole's from last years was in great condition and couldve gotten away w/ reusing it, but my MIL bought them. They actually get sent home w/ a list on the last day of school. My mom went to Walmart last week and got some glue sticks and markers and such for the girls...
