Default Bad park experience

Ugh. Poor dd. There was a boy who tortured her at the park a few weeks ago. He was chasing her, pushing her, and would not leave her alone. We walked away from the situation after realizing that his grandfather was not able to control him. Dd was very upset about it and it was hard to convince her to go back to that park. We finally convinced her to go back and he was there again. As soon as he saw her he started in again. Dd screamed and cried that she wanted to go home. Luckily the gpa finally stepped in and was able to control him to a point and she was able to play for a bit- but she was watching for him the whole time. Then he finally started in again (prompting more crying) and they left. We tried to talk to the guy a few times each day and finally dh just told him he had to keep the boy away from her, but I don't know what else we could have done! It made dh and I both so sad to see it but we didn't want to tell her to fight the boy either. We now have a plan b in case we pull up again and see him there.

We drove around and found another park in the same area. If he is there and we notice before getting the kids out we will keep driving to the other park.

Wow, how frustrating. I remember going to the park w/ the girls and remember my oldest was telling me about this one boy. I told her thats normally a sign that he likes her and then she dismissed it.

Plan B is a good one. I'm guessing this boy probably has some kind of condition that causes his behavior. It doesn't sound like typical behavior at all.
