I know I have not been here in a while so I thought I would stop by and give a quick update. I am now in the LVN program. Fun and exciting but very stressful. I am taking 18.5 units total I feel like I dont have enough time between class, homework, and having 4 kids to raise alone but hey I can do this right??? I need to do this for me and my kids!!

Next week my daughter has to go in to court and identify her father and get questioned at his preliminary hearing. My heart is breaking for her because she has to go through this stressful time and there isnt really much I can do for her but be there for her which I feel like isnt enough. I hate that man more everyday for what he has done to her and the rest of the family and everyday I think I couldnt hate him any more then I already do. I had to get a restraing order on him because he wouldnt stop contacting the kids and telling them that it was my fault he was in jail and they couldnt see him or have a relationship with him and just all around bad mouthing me. I just didnt want to deal with him anymore on top of trying to better my life for my kids and myself so I just put a stop to it all together.

On a postitive note, my kids are all doing awesome in school!! Nathan is on the basketball team for his middle school and he just is on fire out there on the court. This is his first year ever playing basketball and he is amazing. I never knew he could play so well. When he told me he was going to try out for basketball I was a little nervous because he had never played and of course the mommy in me didnt want him to be sad if he didnt make it but low and behold he made it and is doing great. Kaylee and Nathan are getting straight A's in school and Ian doesnt get grades yet but he is getting all positive marks on his report card yet and his ADHD is being controlled beautifully with the meds he is on. Hannah is talking like crazy and doesnt even quailify for speech anymore so we are happy about that. She loves going to preschool and that really makes things so much easier for me to know she is happy when I am at school.

Well enough of my rambling on. Sorry for the long book and hope it all makes sense

Good to see you. I'm so glad the kids are doing great despite their jerk of a dad. Good luck with the court date. I know being a strong supporter is the best thing your daughter can have.
Congrats especially on the basketball and A's. SO glad Ian and Hannah are succesful too.

I'm glad the kids are doing well. So sorry about their dad. I did not know anything about all that. It must be so hard for you and the kids to deal with. Good luck with your school and I hope things get better from now on.
