Today, Matthew comes home from preschool and tells me over supper that his teacher "lets him watch Spongebob."
I said "oh, really? That's pretty sad."
He said, "Well I told her 'Miss Sally, my Mommy does not let me watch Spongebob!"
I guess she asked him why and he said he didn't know but he's not allowed to watch it. Apparently, she turned it off!
I am shocked! Josh is my total rule follower, and I really thought that in a situation like that, Matthew would have asked her if she had any popcorn. I mean, I know there are times they have seen it, and they know I don't expect them to avert their eyes or anything, so I was so proud of him for telling her that, since I imagine he really wanted to watch it.

I dont let the girls watch SpongeBob anymore since they said its bad for 4 yr olds. Im fine w/ that, since I cannot stand him anyways.

My kids watched it for a while and I grew tired of hearing the stupid stuff so it's banned from our house. I really would have been shocked that a teacher would turn that on to begin with but good for Matthew and wow I'm impressed the teacher cared and turned it off.

Wow! You should be so proud! It really ISN'T a kids show!

We never watch Nick during the day because it seems like Spongebob is ALWAYS on. I hate it.
