Thumbs down Cereal

Well, I decided to try some rice cereal yesterday morning. Kieran was not too pleased with it at all. I think I will try again in another week. I thought he was ready because he is at me all the time for milk and he has been waking at 3am for an extra feed. I will have to post the pictures later. He wasn't impressed.

Aw....

You're breastfeeding, right? Josh never ate plain cereal. It made him gag. I wound up mixing the baby food with it. He even liked veggies mixed with it.

none of my kids would eat the cereal plain. I had to mix something with it. They would eat it with fruits or veggies but if I tried to give it to them plain they would gag

Try making it very, very thin and warming it just a little. Are you mixing it with breastmilk? Its yucky made with water. If he still doesn't like it try mixing in a little baby applesauce or banana. Talon hated it at first too, just be patient and he'll be a pro before you know it.
