I know that we have both been having the same problems with our little girls being scared of the potty... I don't know what we did this weekend but we actually got Emery to pee on the potty. It was her first time. We had taken about two weeks off completely. I took her pants and her diaper off and eventually she just sat down and yelled "OH I AM PEEING!" It was so cute.

How is your DD doing? I hope things are going better

Hi, thats great news for you!

We talked to ur pedi about the issue, and she said that with Ava only being 2.5 we should not be all comcerned and pushing her to potty train. SHe said to stop all talk of the potty, and pull ups, etc, for a good month. Then ease slowly into it again in a month or so. so right now we are taking a hiatus on potty training.

Not to mention, everyone i have tlaked to has said let youur kids tell you when they are ready, so i am taking that approach now. i know she will not be 5 and in diapers still, so am gonna chill out on the whole topic for a little bit!

thats great that your daughter did so well.
How is the adjustment going having a new baby in the house for her too?

She is doing okay... As soon as she gets tired we have to watch her to make sure she doesn't "accidently" drop a toy or something on him. All in all she absolutely loves him and is a wonderful big sister. Thank for asking!
I'm glad you talked to your Ped. We were thinking about calling, but we are just going to take it slow too. I was just worried because she was so scared, but now that we had one breakthrough I feel a lot better.

Glad to hear things are progressing in one way or another for both of you.
