Default gift?

We have a friends bday party this weekend, and she is turning 1. I thought some of you who have just had one, or about to , would have a good gift idea for a one year old girl. Anything really good out there for one year olds? Anywhere up to 30 dollars i guess

My friends little girl just turned one recently and she got all sorts of fun toys. She loves things that are more interactive. Here are a few things she got

Cora has that ball popper and she LOVES it! She is always crawling into her room and playing with that thing.

I would say depends on the person and their taste. I always like simple gifts for such small kids, so a nice book or two or a wooden puzzle would be my choice.

The ball popper is awesome by Playskool that Jen is talking about. My nephew has it and loves it. I think I'm going to get one for the kids for their birthday.

Books, puzzles, I like anything educational - leap frog, etc. A little outfit.
