Cora got accepted into a preschool program for developmentally delayed kids as a peer model. I'm super excited because it is a great program in the elementary schools with good, well trained teachers and aids. The program's focus is on the kids with special needs, but I still think it will be GREAT for Cora to experience a structred classroom setting. Basically she is a "model" for the other kids to follow. It's a bit longer than I wanted - it's 4 days a week for 3 hours a day. Kindergarten is full day here though so hopefully it will help her transition easier.

Anyway, I'm SUPER excited for her. She can't wait to go to preschool and talks about it all the time.

THANKS!!! I agree - I think it is great for her to be in a class with children with different abilities. It's a nice small class too with only about 10 kids total (including the 4 or 5 peer model kids.)
