hand foot and mouth disease Ages & Stages

Matthew has hand foot and mouth disease! I have heard of it before but never have any of the kids gotten it. Matthew woke up this morning with these blisters all over his fingers. I look further and see them all over his knees. Then I remembered him showing me his mouth yesterday and he had a bump on the tongue and a couple on the lips. At first I thought he might have chicken pox, but then after I saw it on the hands and mouth, I pulled his socks off. Sure enough, there were blisters all over his feet and toes. I looked up pictures of it, and it looks identical. Blah!

Joseph and I both got it two years ago. It iches like crazy and spreads to people in the household. Lysol everything he touches and wipe or wash his stuffed animals.

Awe poor kiddo. Brooke had it a long long time ago. It took a while to clear up if I remember correctly.
