  • So I was just packing some stuff away when I found my developmental check list for 18 months. Keep in mind they say to use this until the next list at 2 years. One of the points says that the child should say 5 words. It also says that the words need not be clear. If that is the case maybe I am worrying over nothing.

  • Thats funny you say that. Andy woke up this morning and said Apple, up, hot and then went back to sleep. it was too cute.

  • WTG Andy! I'm still waiting! He loves to point at everything and owwww and ahhhh. I just need to learn to relax and it will happen. I'm just happy he is understanding more and doing what I ask him to do. It is good to know that he gets what I am saying and makes me feel so much better.

  • Matthew is so cute when he signs for "more." He claps 2 times-- like he's calling a dog or something. Even that one sign now is so much nicer knowing when he's done eating, or wants to play something.

I've also noticed when he wants something, usually food, he makes his finger scratch the high chair-- like you do when you want to say "hit me" in blackjack.

I'm working on eat, ball, want, and drink.
