I don't think he likes me! Ages & Stages

I swear I don't think Gus likes me. He is probably mad that he got us and not some cool parents somewhere

But seriously, he always just looks at things, with this mean look on his face! He rarely, if ever, looks at me, just stares off. Dewey would just sit and look at me and I'd talk and sing to him and he seemed to enjoy it. Not Gus, he seems to want nothing to do with me unless it involves a boob!

It makes me sad! I hope when he starts to become more alert as he gets a little older he'll change.

Oh sweetie! It breaks my heart to hear you talk like this!!! Honestly, there is no way in the world your newborn bean doesn't like you - he's newborn and he's in this world where everything is new to him. He's taking it all in.

My little Aaron was one heckuva frowner for the first bit as well. It ends up that he had ear problems (same as E - with fluid build-up behind the ear drum) and didn't feel well. He also had colic and his little tummy didn't feel good either.

You never know what your little man might be dealing with - but I can assure you that he knows who is mommy is and loves her! Babies aren't born with the capacity to feel dislike!

Thanks gals! I hope that he starts becoming more alert sooner rather than later. I know he's still so little and new, but I would love to see some recognition in his face.
