Default I'm officially "gross" now!
I knew it would happen some day!

Last week sometime Kaydence made the proclamation that "boys are gross". Later that night when I went to tuck her in and give her a hug/kiss goodnight I was informed that she no longer likes "boy kisses" and would only be able to hug her!

I always thought as a dad I would have an exemption to the "gross boy" idea, but apparently not!

She's only 5, what in the world is she going to be like as a teenager!

Oh my! I think that would totally break my husband's heart! She already sometimes tells him to get out of her room b/c she wants me to read a story and not him, lol.

Well by next year it might change. All my child's first grade friends have boyfriends. And 3rd graders (my son's friends who have older siblings) are talking about sex.
