I know you mentioned something about starting potty training with Sienna and I was just wondering how it was going?

In the last 2 1/2 weeks I think she has actually gone maybe a handful of times on the potty. She gets VERY excited when she goes, but often I have to fight with her to get her to sit at all. It's a bit frustrating, but I'm not sure what to do!

I had that same problem with my 2nd ds. My ped told me to stop pushing soooo hard. Ask him if he wants to sit on the potty at every diaper change and bath time and when he goes to bed and when he gets up and then try again full time in another month or 2!!!

Thanks! I have tried to lay off a bit, so hopefully that will help. Ds was SO easy to potty train! He practically did it himself! I think Sienna just doesn't *get it* yet, kwim? She gets excited and knows when she has gone, but I don't think she understands the point yet. Guess I'll have to try again in a few weeks and see how it goes! I'll keep her used to the idea, I just won't push her.
