Default At least the night ENDED well . . .

I'm starting to get Aislinn back into the habit of getting herself to sleep. If she doesn't fall asleep quickly after I put her down, she plays a little while, and then eventually gets upset. From past experience, and since I don't believe in CIO, I know that I have to intervene before she crosses that imaginary line into uncontrollable sobbing. Well, last night I guess I missed that window . It took her 30 minutes to settle back down and fall asleep, and then 2 hours later she woke up out of a dead sleep and cried hysterically for 40 minutes . Poor thing, even after she finally passed out, she still had the breathing sobs. She did sleep for 7 solid hours after that (and so did I!) I'll keep trying.

Glad she slept for you in the end, but sounds like it started off as a rough night. I hope you have better luck tonight.
