  • Matthew pooped in the toilet for the first time today! I'm so excited!!!

He also peed on the potty at school for the first time today. I told the teacher that for some odd reason, Matthew responds better to "put water in the potty" than "go potty" or "put pee pee in the potty." He hadn't gone for her at all but today he went when she told him to "go put some water in the potty."

I think it's because we call his privates "pee pee" and the toilet a "potty." so he doesn't understand that those words also mean to put pee in the potty.

I hope that this is a sign of good things to come and that he'll be day trained soon. He still isn't telling us-- we have to insist that he sits and goes.
