Nicole's 5th bday Ages & Stages

Was a great success! We wind up asking those w/ kids to come an hour earlier so they would have more time to play in the pool. Since the weather was turning out to be great, this was def going to be an outside party. The kids played in the pool for almost 2 hours, then pinanta time! I was lucky enough not to get hit w/ the bat. LOL Some of the kids didnt give me a chance to move them closer to the pinanta before swinging. LOL Then it was time to have some cake and ice cream then presents time. Majority of e/o left around 430ish. We ordered pizza for dinner. My nephew and friends son stayed. My g/f came back later w/ her two little ones and all stayed til after midnight. Nicole mustve had a good time. She passed out on the sofa around 11. LOL

FYI, check out the pics toward the end of her in the floatie w/ the googles. She was just floating...I think she was just soooo tired and w/ the googles on, def made it comical!

How FUN! My kids' birthdays are all in the time of year that isn't conducive to pool parties--they'd LOVE to have a swim party! And that cake looks DELISH!

Im lucky to have both girls not having a bday in the winter...heck, Im a winter baby. Kaitlyn told Nicole that shes lucky her bday is in the summer, bcuz they can enjoy the pool. One of Nicole's friends, that came to the party yelled at her mom b/c she didnt have a party for her 5th. Sadly, she did, but her bday is in the winter and was just in the house.

Yeah, my girls would totally dig a summer birthday but their birthdays are in March and April. Alex's is in February. That's a bit chilly for the pool!

But we try to do fun indoor parties and this year because the winter was so mild, the kids played outside during Alex's party--and didn't even need jackets!
