Yesterday Nicole helped me make her cake, but I decorated it after she went to bed. She was SO excited. I dont remember Kaitlyn acting this way. I thought she would never go to bed. LOL I put balloons and streamers in the dining room and hung some streamers at her bedroom door w/ a balloon. Nicole wants shrimp for dinner, but i dont know about that one. We have some frozen so prob can defrost some for her. We will prob go to McDs for dinner. The grandparents and friends will arrive around 630 for some cake. I feel bad leaving her but I guess it just builds up the excitement.

Nicole seemed to enjoy her birthday. I asked her what she wanted for dinner and she tells me shrimp. I personally wanted to go to McD but DH had a migraine and was napping for a bit. I had frozen shrimps so I cooked them up for her. Thats what she wanted, so I was content w/ that. Mostly everyone showed up at 630....both sets of grandparents, friend of ours w/ her 3 yr old son. My ILs got Nicole about 4-5 outfits, Hello Kitty bathing suit, HK underwear, HK nightgown, Tinkerbell jammies, my parents got her a Lalaloopsy(?) doll and a doll that swims in the water. Chris cousin got her an ISPY game...apparently his g/f has one and brought it over one day and thats ALL Nicole talks about, so she got her her own. My BIL got her a new barbie doll and a beach ball. I got her rollerskates and a floating pool toy, along w/ a glow mask and water gooogles.

I got a pair of skates for Kaitlyn as well, along w/ the mask and googles, for graduating Kindergarten. She was pouty at first b/c she didnt get any gifts. Really? My mom actually bought her a new beach towel and then after Nicole opened her gifts I gave her hers....

I must say...Nicole did really well w/ the skates and pretty bummed that they prob will get only one season out of them, but they were $20 a piece and I know shes been asking for them. Pics to come.
