  • how do you pick your battles? I know that I cannot be nitpicky about every single thing, but Becca is soooooo stubborn that there are times when I'm not sure if it's worth fighting over or not.

  • That's a tough one Alison! Honestly, I just try to be consistent about whatever is causing drama. She whines and cries for milk all the time - so I let her have it 3 times a day and that's it. When she's ask's for it, I just tell her not right now and give her some water instead. I think being consistent is the key - but when I'm tired and trying to deal with Preston I let some things slide just because I don't want to deal with it.

  • I hear ya Krystal is turning into a stubborn little butt and pushing the limits. I think Jen is right consistency is the key with them now, but I always tell DH we gotta pick our battles.

  • There are some things I have to let slide with Gavyn to avoid a huge meltdown at the wrong time. But for the most part, I do try to be consistant so he doesn't think I'll always give in!

  • I also try to be consistant but there are times when it's easier to let them have their way as long as no harm will come to them. If they want to wear their rainboots on a nice day, I really won't fight that one...I try to make sure battles are over important or necessary things.
