Smile Preschool - I am STOKED!

I went to Marek's preschool parents' night this evening, and I am so excited! His teachers seem really nice, and there are tons of cool things planned for this year - a Halloween parade, Thanksgiving potluck and Christmas pajama breakfast (family invited), a Christmas program, Valentines party and mother's day tea.

I'm hoping hoping hoping he likes school and does well this year. He's such an active, impulsive kid - I just hope he can sit still. I'm not at all worried about academics (from the goal list, he's already achieved many of this year's goals, and is almost 4 going into 3-year-old preschool), but I want him to like school and learn some self control this year.

I'm sure everybody else here has had their kids in preschool for a while. Can you share what's going on with your kids' schooling?

Sounds like a great place! Hope Marek enjoys it. When is his first day?

Sounds great!!! I hope he loves his time at school. When does school start for him?

Cora is starting preschool for the first time this year as well so I'm a bit anxious and really hope she loves it. She's a bit of a drama queen though so I know we'll have some days when she won't want to go. Cora's preschool follows the regular school schedules (since it is in the elementary school) so the first day of school is September 7th for us.

Sounds good, Rudi!

Aislinn has been going to preschool 3 days a week for a year now. What specifically are you wondering about?
