Default Sharing a room

I think we made a decision and move Nicole in Kaitlyn's room. Kaitlyn already has bunk beds and Nicole's spring is busted, so financially its cheaper just to buy a new mattress and make Nicole's room the play room. Im a little sad..I guess since it has always been "Kaitlyns room" and remember feeding her in the glider in her room. We would have to get rid of Nicole's dresser, which was Kaitlyn's when she was a baby. I know my mom wont be thrilled since they payed for the set, but we just dont have the room. The girls seem to be excited about the change...I guess as they as they are happy, I will be too..but still a little sad.

I think it is a great idea. My two share and we have a playroom because of it. At this age how much room do they need to sleep? Do you need to get rid of the dresser? Can you find a way to use it for playroom storage so you don't have to upset your mom? Good luck with the switch!

I suggested moving into my oldest bedroom but DH thinks it wont be enough room for the desk....Then he figured we would move the set all the way down to the wall and would open it up for more room...but these are bunk beds w/ the desk and book shelves included. I believe it comes apart, but might be a lot of work. Keeping where it is now, is a possiblitity, but honestly, between 2 dollhouses and 2 toy chest, along w/ the other cr@p, that room will be tight....Thats a good suggustion about using it to store toys and stuff. IDK...I guess we will have to figure it out on the go. I wind up picking a Sealy twin mattress at BJs today for $90....theres no going back now. lol

I couldnt believe how happy Nicole was when I told her I took her bed apart last night. LOL I think she was just happy knowing their playroom is coming together. I never saw them work great together as they were arranging all the toys. Tonight I need to swap Nicole's dresser and Kaitlyn's toy chest and move Kaitlyn's dollhouse in there. Man..that room got small! If Im moving things, that dresser is going in the girls' bedroom...at least for the time being.
