Marek's been taking swimming lessons for about a month now and doing fine, but this week we had to switch him to Monday night versus Thursday morning. He's going to start TTh preschool next week and has meet the teacher day this Thursday, so our regular time wasn't going to work any more. I was a little reluctant to go with an evening class, but none of the other days worked.

This evening class rocks! It's at 6:55, so he gets out of the pool at 7:30, we shower him, get him into bedtime wear and head home for stories and bed. The scheduling worked well, but even better, the teacher is a young man versus a woman like the other teachers he's had. He LOVES "big boys", and he was doing stuff cheerfully for this guy that he was not very excited about doing for anyone else - dunking his head underwater, jumping into his arms in the deep end (won't even do that for me), etc.

I am really excited that he's going to make some progress with this teacher
