Default Theron has to get glasses

About 3 weeks ago we noticed that Theron's right eye would occasionally cross. Since it seemed to start so suddenly we were a little alarmed. Long-story-short he saw the eye Dr. yesterday who said he was farsighted in both eyes and the eye(s) crossing was an attempt to focus. Good news is he said often times this isn't permanent, but in the meantime he'll need glasses.

Theron turned 3 the past March. Does anyone else here have a little on with glasses? Any tips or advice? I think we're going to go as a family tonight and pick out his glasses. We were thinking of getting two pair, one nicer pair, and maybe one geared a little more towards active wear.

Our daugther got her glasses when she was five. She's been great with them. No problems at all.

Good luck!

They have SUCH great glasses now, I have been wearing glasses since I was 3 and they were SO ugly back then! Hopefully he will be just fine with them.

Matthew has glasses. He's had them for a year now. He wears them for school and "table activities." The best thing is just to get them in a routine, and of course make a huge deal of how cute they look. He puts them on every single morning before school, and takes them off at the end of the day. DH has worn glasses since he was a very young child, so he has been a crucial part in helping Matthew make the transition to wearing his glasses.
