We decided to finally start training Erin now that we are in a better spot with the new baby but Erin won't sit on the potty at all. She sat once this week and actually squeezed a few drops out and was really excited about it. Now any time we ask her to sit on the potty she cries. Any ideas? We are trying not to push it and just move on when she says no but we are not sure if we are doing the right thing. I have a book on triainig but have not had time to read it.

Stop asking her .

Since it's still so early, I would just leave the potty out and maybe ask her to join you when you go. You could also let her sit on it when youre watching tv.

Hannah did the same thing. I was sooooo frustrated and thought she would never train. Now she is Day and Night trained. She will do it. Dont push it and just keep trying every so often.

I agree w/ the others...dont push it. When shes ready she will do it own her own. Its great that she has the concept down, so she knows what needs to be done when the time comes to it.

hahaha.... I don't know that she'll do it on her own (although she might since she's a girl) but at this stage it's all about them getting used to the potty and learning what it's for.
