Thsi si a developmentally delayed preschool through the school..only half day 3 days a week. Today was day 1! He showed his first sign of shyness as I was dropping him off. His teacher reached for his hand and he buried himself in my skirt for the first time. But he started playign before I left. Jason just called the babysotter to make sure the bus got him there ok. She said she came straight in and layed down for a nap. he wouldn't even eat lunch which is way unusual because he wants his food at certain times! But I guess that means he learned a lot because he can usually play hard for a lot longer without wiping out!
It kind of reminds me of Kimmie's first day of kindergarten...I came home and asked Jason where she was..oh she's around here playing. She I didn't really think much of it until we started to sit down for dinner and I called her and she didn't come running. I glanced in her room...checked the rest of the house...started calling her name down the street..even checked with a couple neighbors who's houses she plays at a lot. Just when I was starting to seriously panic, she woke up...she had crawled into the top bunk of her bed (which I couldn't see when I glanced in) and had just passed out for like 3 hours!

Sounds great! Matthew did that too at first, although his was all day 2 days a week. They eat lunch earlyat 11am, and he didn't want it at first; he went straight to nap.
