I signed Avery up for preschool and she got accepted...

She will be going to a church preschool Monday-Wednesday from 12:30-3:30. She is so excited... she asks to go to school EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. She wants to have friends and learn so bad. I'm so happy for her but it does make me sad that my baby is going to preschool. We got our list the other night and it was very short IMO... crayons, paper, paper towels, flat of white paper, hand sanitizer, and sugar-free kool aid. We have open house to meet her teacher and see her classroom and meet the other kids on Sept 1st and she officially starts on Sept. 7th.

We found out we can afford our church preschool but they require children to be 95% potty trained. Joseph will be 3 in February so we are focusing on potty training this fall and hopefully he'll be going starting in January. Luckily grandma is on the same page so we have good support to get hin trained.
In the meantime we are doing swimmin lesson 2x a week until October and Kindermusik once a week until December.

Matthew is going to preschool!!
After much deliberation, Matthew will be going to a county-funded preschool, where there are 6 typical children (of which he will be one) and 6 atypical children. There are 12 kids in the class, a teacher, and an aide, plus the atypical kids are in and out for therapies and such. It's 5 full days although Matthew will probably be getting picked up early 2 of the days.
There's a pool, where they swim once a week, year round. They do field trips quite a bit. It's $50/month for the typicals. If I want him to get a hot lunch, that's an additional $2.50ish per day. I will probably do that on most days, because I believe that he will try more things when he sees his friends eating it.
All we'll have to bring for supplies will be something for him to sleep with at naptime. THey'll take care of the rest.
Oh, and I still have to dump the other 3 schools he's not going to.

Erin is going to pre-k 5 half days in the morning and she is so excited. It is a local private school where she went last year. She will also saty one full day a week for an extended day program, since she will have full day kindy the following year. We didn't get our supply list yet, but it was not too crazy last year.
