Default 5th grade math

Can you solve this? It was on Leanna's math homework today...

This number has 4 places to the right of the decimal point. It has 2 hundreds, 3 ten thousands, and 1 tenth. It is in between 240 and 242. The thousanths place is one less than the ten thousandths and less than the hundredths. What are the six numbers that match this data?

I had enough math thru college that I can solve most problems but not this one!

So when they say it has "2 hundreds, 3 ten thousands, and 1 tenth," do they mean the digit in the hundredths position is 2, the digit in the ten thousandths position is 3 and the digit in the tenths position is 1? I understand what the question is trying to figure out, but it's not very clearly worded.

Wait. I'm confused. How can the number be between 240 and 242 if there are 3 ten thousands. Do you mean ten thousandths?

If the number is between 240 and 242, then the first 3 digits have to be 240 or 241.

Yeah what Jeane said! I don't get how it can be between 240 and 242 if there are 3 ten thousands.
