You could also let them paint one. Guess the number of pumpkin seeds in the jar, draw a face on a pumpkin, pin the stem on the pumpkin, etc.

Haha, funny you mentioned this. For her 5th we actually had it at a farm, so there was a hayride and every child picked a pumpkin and took it home.
