I was too Deanna. It isn't called that here.

It's either called Pop Warner football which I hear a lot and then the younger kids are on the "Pee Wee " squad.

We have a cheer squad here that meets at the YMCA. They are a year round cheer and dance squad. IMO, that is better than cheering just for football because the girls are the sole focus and they can do a lot more routines. When they cheer for a sport they usually only do sideline cheers all season and then maybe go to a competition or two at the end.

Side Note: Usually Midget is the older age group here.

Tiny Mites 5-7
Mighty Mites 7-9
Pee-Wees 10-12
Midgets 13-14

That is similar to the hockey levels which also have Midgets in many of the leagues.

Well, I got a response to my email to check out their website and will be sending more email updates soon. The only thing new that was posted is its $50. Thats cheap....Im sure that doesnt include uniforms. We know the person who does the coaching so maybe I will ask her or when I show up this weekend, hopefully someone can tell me more.

Well I spoke too soon. My daughter begged me to sign her up again last night. So there I was at 7:50pm signing her up and tonight I have to go order her sneakers and order one new thing the rest they are using the same as last year.

I told my husband if she seems overwhelmed or doesn't seem to be having fun or becomes too much for us it's OVER!!!. I also told her the first time she complains about going it's over.
